The Christmas Craft Enrichment on December 11th was a big hit. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all those who made that wonderful evening possible and so successful. A lot of work went into the preparations as well as the wonderful food and fun, thanks again to all who helped with this fun night.

Help Needed

Sister Cindy Cutler is working to make possible a Christmas party for foster children in our area. This is a worthwhile event and a way to help share the Christmas spirit at this wonderful time of year. Please contact Sister Cutler if you can offer any help for this event. The party will be Tuesday, December 16th.

In Sympathy

Our sympathy goes out to Sister Carol Aldous on the death of her husband, Ben. The funeral will be held Friday, November 14, 2008, at the LDS church at 111 W McArthur Avenue. The viewing will be held at 9:00 a.m. and the funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m.

Trunk or Treat

Happy Halloween! We will be offering a Trunk or Treat and Family Carnival
Friday, October 31st, 2008 at 6:30 pm
Meet in the parking lot for a great Trunk or Treat (trick or treating from car to car) To share the Trunk or Treat spirit, just park along with us and hand out treats while seeing all the great costumes. You can even decorate your vehicle!
Then move into the church for a carnival of fun for the whole family.

Stake Preparedness Fair

Get information about Emergency Preparedness, Food Storage, and important tips for your family.
Following this event, the community will be offering a Spook Night for your families at the Winnemucca Events Complex from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
